St Vedas Surf Shop is the only Hire Centre in Scotland to gain membership in the Surf Hire Safety scheme run by Royal National Lifeboat Institution and British Surfing Association.

What does it mean?

Members of the surf hire safety scheme have agreed:

To only rent equipment suitable to your ability.

To provide safety information to all customers.

To check equipment regularly for damage.

To maintain adequate insurance.

Stay safe in the surf, Look out for the ''Surf Hire Safety'' logo and choose a scheme member when hiring your board.

Surfboard, wetsuit, boots £9 with hood and gloves £11per hour - based on time in water, we do not charge for changing time

Bodyboard, Wetsuit, boots £6 with hood and gloves £8 per hour - based on time in water, we do not charge for changing time

Under 18’s need an adult to sign on their behalf and to be supervised at all times by a guardian

For your own safety please note, St Vedas Surf Shop and Hire Centre reserve the right to refuse to hire equipment out, if we consider the sea conditions for surf hire not to be safe.
