If you would like to get into the exciting and fun sport of surfing, then we would recommend you havea surf lesson to learn the safety and basic aspects of surfing.
St.Vedas Surf School can organise surf lessons for you and your friends.
All Surf School instructors hold current Royal Life Saving Society or Surf Life Saving Association open water lifeguard qualifications as well as the British Surfing Association Level 1 coaching award.
Lessons are 2 hours, with Approximately 15 minutes on the beach learning about the safety aspect of surfing and Approximately 1hour 45 minutes in the water learning to surf.
Lessons from our BSA qualified instructors are £35.00 per session.
All you need to bring with you is your swimming costume and towel.
All equipment Wetsuits, surf boots and surfboards will be provided.
Hot or cold food and drink is available in our licensed resturant after the lesson.
Class sizes may vary to a maximum of ten people. One-to-one tuition is available at an extra cost.
The surf school recommends a minimum age of 8 years old for a lesson.
For children 10 years old and under we ask a parent or guardian to be on hand for the lesson to help with changing in and out of wetsuits, taking the child out of the lesson if they become tired and we would also ask a parent or guardian to go into the water to individually assist with thier child (we will provide you with a wetsuit).
To book a surfing lesson with one of our British Surf Accredited Coaches, subscribe
to our mailing list and every time we run a surf lesson you will be notified by email approximately 24 to 48 hours before the lesson is run, with the date and time.
When you receive your email stating when the lesson is, phone the surf shop on 018907 71679 to reserve your space.
Lessons are limited to ten people so booking is on a first come basis.
